  • People are reluctant to change

  • getting outside of individual comfort zone

  • adapting to small changes, and acknowledging the need of change.

People are reluctant to change in general, and they often surrender to what is described as fate, rather than trying to shape their future and change themselves. The fear of making change, can reflect negatively on one’s life. In this essay I will describe how this inability of making a change in an individual life, will cause deterioration in mental health. Also I will discuss how can someone overcome such limitation.

Often, people find themselves stuck in situations, or more like a lifestyle, where a kind of routine governs it. It does bother them, and most of the time you will hear them complain about it. Yet everyone can tell clearly that they are doing little to change anything about it. Making them fall victims into the hands of all mental suffering. They will start by feeling helpless and powerless, putting hope on some superstitious beliefs waiting for a miracle to happen. Leading to what comes next, which is frustration and depression leaving the person with a miserable life.

The first step into solving any issue, is actually acknowledging the need for it. We all seem to know when we are in need for something different. Change might seem to be a very difficult step for us yet it’s not impossible. As long as we focused on that, and actually tried to get outside of our comfort zone. Adapting with small changes through out our day can be a very good starting point. This will show you that you are actually capable. Also it will allow you to feel that you are moving forward in your life. Then you can move to much adventurous changes were you start to realize they are not as scary as they seem to be, and in fact you manage to survive such change. Most of the time you will find yourself enjoying such changes.
