stronger foundation in knowledge on how things are working around us type of work; employing such skills practical skills comes from experience

Nowadays people argue that, our entire educational journey we have set for our youth to learn, is characterized by being solely focused on specific details, and more of theoretical knowledge rather than actual one that they can put into immediate job. I do not believe that such statement is valid, for various reasons, like the fact that having stronger foundation in real sciences of how things are working from around us, can actually serve us better. Along with the other point of view that practical skills actually comes from experience and it is not something to be given.

Being able to know the actual facts behind the scientifical advancement is a long path, and requires a lot of time to be spent throughout the levels of of education. On the good side, it really gives us the needed knowledge to link things and realize how we can make use of it and deploy it into practical use. I actually used to be one of those who complained from all the impractical knowledge that I could not not see how I will be using, until that day came when I started working in a job that actually required me to recall all those science laws that I thought I will never be using.

This brings me to my next realization that, when I started deploying those learned facts, I was able to gain more practical experience. In other words, practical experience is acquired by practicing and it is not something to be taught. One thing to note, that there are tremendous amount of specialized industries teaching their practicals, however we need to know the basics in order to learn them.

In conclusion, learning journey is long and filled with theories that may seem like you will never use them, the thought of focusing on something efficient may seem brighter. However, as we have seen, being equipped with stronger science foundation, can lead us to absorbing practical experience at a faster pace.

Some people believe that nowadays we have too many choices.

to what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement.

choice / option / path / decision / alternative / possibility

  • we are constantly being introduced to new possibilty of doing something
  • decisions are our natural way of expressing ourselves

These days, some argues that humans have grown to face a wide range of options in their lives. In which this essay is actually inclined with. Due to the fact that we are constantly being introduced to new possibilities throughout our existence. As well as the fact that our decisions are our natural way of expressing ourselves.

If we compared the number of alternative life paths we get to pick from nowadays to past centuries, we will realize that they are in constant increase. Everyday we get to hear about some individual who was able to make a living using new methods that no one did before. We reached a point where we have countless amount of decisions to make, nearly in every single thing we want to do. One of the things I always struggled with is whether I should drink coffee or tea instead! If you think about it, at some point in history people where not even aware of such drinks.

In addition, recent studies have showed how one the most important technique that humans use in order to express themselves and exhibit their uniqueness is by making up choices. We all do that, sometimes I find myself wondering what path should I be taking and how I can create a new one. Always thinking how things would be if we had far more fewer.

To conclude, giving all these individual little choice generators, that ended up accumulating endless amount of choices overtime. Exposing every generation to bigger quantity of options, opening up space for even more of them to be generated.
