You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You recently attended a conference and you would like to give a presentation in your office about the information you gained by attending the conference. Write a letter to your manager asking for permission to give a presentation. In your letter:
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows:
Dear …………….,
Dear Tom,
As you know last week I have attended a conference about the recent development tool that has been released by our main vendor. It was an extensive session that showcase the whole tool and what type of knowledge required in order to understand it. As you might able to tell, there is a bit of learning curve involved in order to be able to use the tool effectively.
Given that I would like to conduct a presentation to our team explaining about this new tool over one to possibly two sessions. Where I would go in depth with the team, and explain how we can fit it along with our existing tools. Hence, it will be more like hands on workshop, I believe this way our company teams will be able to adapt to it in no time.
Which brings me to my next point, regarding which of our teams should be attending this session. Definitely entire development team, and I was thinking to include QA (Quality Assurance) team as they will be interacting with this particular tool during testing process. I will be waiting your confirmation before I sent out presentation invitations.
Regards, Nael
